Trauma Can Break You.

But It Can Also Become the Doorway to Who You Were Meant to Be.

From Corporate Powerhouse to Deep Healing Practitioner
Years before I became a trauma-informed coach and creator of The Morse Method, I was managing $70 million a year in global production as an import operations manager for a women’s clothing manufacturer.
From the outside, I had it all together.
But my inner world was a storm of pain I didn’t yet understand.
Years of mysterious symptoms—chronic fatigue, IBS, fibromyalgia, brain fog, and emotional overwhelm—had me feeling like I was unraveling. Doctors couldn’t explain it. Medications didn’t help. And willpower, my go-to tool, was no longer enough.
It took breaking down—completely—for me to start learning how to build a life that actually healed me.

A Life Shaped by Survival
My story starts long before my job titles or symptoms.
I was conceived during the Vietnam War. My father, a C-130 pilot, flew combat missions while my mother carried me through nine months of anxiety, depression, and fear for his life—fears worsened by the assassination of JFK during her pregnancy.
We moved to the Philippines when I was just 18 months old so my father could be closer to the war. As the war raged on during the first ten years of my life, he came home angry, overwhelmed, and sometimes drunk—and I was often his target. As a sensitive child, I internalized that rage, that instability, that sense of never being enough.
I carried that into every part of my life. Into my work ethic. Into my marriage. Into my body.
By the time I reached adulthood, I was a master at holding it all together—on the outside. Inside, I was unraveling.

Pain Became My Teacher
My childhood was marked by physical pain that had no name—until decades later.
  • A broken collarbone that never healed correctly
  • Fibromyalgia and IBS symptoms before I was 8
  • Endless sinus infections, TMJ, brain fog, and exhaustion
  • Emotional trauma wrapped tightly around every cell
After marrying a man who echoed the emotional patterns of my childhood, my body began to break down further. Seven years of infertility treatments pushed my system to the brink. A pregnancy marked by complications ended in an emergency C-section and a physical collapse that left me unable to move without pain.
Then came the car crash.
The numbness.
The doctors who said, “Your tests are normal. It’s all in your head.”
But it wasn’t in my head.
It was in my nervous system.
It was in my history.
It was in my unconscious.

Healing Didn’t Come in One Miracle. It Came in a Thousand Little Choices.
I started searching for answers the system couldn’t give me.
I left my toxic marriage.
I took writing classes.
I found a meditation teacher.
When an osteopath told me I had a choice between hot yoga three times a week or being in a wheel chair within ten years, I chose hot yoga, even when I could barely stand during it, and collapsed for hours afterward.
I read everything I could about the body, the brain, trauma, and belief.
I worked with a vision therapist, a Jungian analyst, a somatic therapist.
I gave up gluten, dairy, sugar, and stress—including friends who drained my energy.
I started learning how to talk to my body, not just about it.
And I kept going.

I Created What I Needed but Couldn’t Find
As I pieced myself back together—emotionally, physically, spiritually—I realized I was developing a system. A method that didn’t just soothe symptoms. It retrained my nervous system. It rewired my subconscious.
That system became The Morse Method:
A four-part framework to help people like me—high achievers stuck in cycles of emotional shutdown—build their own emotional toolkit, release subconscious and unscious resistance, and finally feel like themselves again.
The Morse Method is deep, yes. But it’s also lighthearted.
Because healing doesn’t have to be clinical or heavy.
It can be playful. Gentle. Even joyful.
Why I Do This Work
I do this work for the woman lying awake at 3am wondering what’s wrong with her.
For the woman who’s read every self-help book but still feels stuck.
For the woman who’s achieved so much—and still feels like she’s failing.
I do it because I know what it’s like to feel broken.
And I know what it’s like to come back home to yourself.
Fully. Fiercely. Finally.

Today, My Life Looks Different
I live with joy.
My nervous system feels steady.
I laugh—a lot.
I’m in a loving marriage with a man who supports my healing.
And I work with women who are ready to rewrite their story, too.
This isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about being whole.

My journey taught me how to navigate through subconscious fog—and now I help others reach safe harbor too.

If You’re Ready to Reclaim the Life You Worked So Hard to Build…

You’re not too broken.
You’re not too late.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
